[Samuel x Roman]

A couple of hours and one mind-numbingly boring train ride later, Elliot's mother picked them up in her mini-van and dropped everyone off at home. Samuel came to Roman's. After informing his parents that they were home, safe and very much sober, he lead his boyfriend up to his bedroom, shouted a hello to London through her door and closed his own.

He immediately shoved his boyfriend onto his back on the bed and climbed on top of him, smothering his face and neck in kisses. "If you ever make anyone bring up my disgusting fourteen-year-old self again, I'll make up some story about you having a weird mole on your dick and tell everyone about it."

He chuckled to let Samuel know he was joking, got up and unpacked the makeup he had obtained at Sephora. He wiped his face clean of the cosmetics he had been wearing, but only to try the highlighters he had been swatching in the store.

Samuel was pretty glad to be home again, finally able to completely relax after a day that did end up to be pretty fun, or well he was at Roman's place, but he felt just as home there as at his own place. Especially when it mention a lot of messy kisses from Roman as soon as he was behind his boyfriend's bedroom door.

"Oh shut up" Samuel said when Roman, to Samuels disappointment, moved on to do other things and propped himself up on his elbows to be able to look at him when speaking "You weren't disgusting at all, I'm sure you would have made younger me very confused and uncomfortable with you're cuteness"

He chuckled lightly at the thought of himself at a younger age, it this point, when he was lying in Roman's bed looking over at his boyfriend with utter adoration it was hard to imagine how deep in denial he had been when he was younger.

Roman scoffed. "I was the dorkiest, messiest, least attractive stick on the planet. And I hadn't even gotten that tall yet so my skinniness just looked even worse than it does now." Roman rolled his eyes at Samuel in the mirror and stopped talking for a moment, only to brush the green shade of highlighter over his lips. "At least I didn't have acne."

After brushing the glitter out of his hair as much as he could, Roman combed it back and leaned in further to shape out his nose, eyes and lips with one of the darker products. He wasn't really doing anything with a goal, just having fun with his new makeup.

"Did you have a nice time today, baby?" he asked Samuel earnestly. He had done his best to ensure that Samuel had had a good time, and he felt he had succeeded, but still wanted to make sure.

"Mmm I did" Samuel said earnestly and sat up properly since they were going to talk, "That's pretty"

The slightly absentminded comment was referring to the shimmer on Roman's cheekbones, mostly just to have something to say as he reflected over the day. He had had a nice time but his thoughts trailed off to the beginning of the day and Miles comment. To the makeup store and his defensiveness, which nobody else really noticed but it was still a thing that happened. He decided it was better to get it out than to dwell on it, he had definitely learn that by now.

"Do you really think I'm not boring?" He asked with a slight sigh, he had never really minded his boringness, it was just something his friends commented on when he turned down parties, but Roman was fun and everyone just kind of liked him and now it seemed like more of a problem. If people who Roman considered his friends didn't like him just because he didn't want to let loose in the same way that they did.

Roman was glad that Samuel had had a good day. His own first pride event hadn't gone as smoothly has he may have liked and Roman wouldn't wish that upon his boyfriend, and especially not since he had come out of the closet relatively recently. It was important for Samuel's good experiences with his sexuality and his new community to outweigh the negative ones or he would never be truly happy.

At Samuel's next question Roman looked at his boyfriend sternly in the mirror. "Samuel, I truly believe, with every fibre of my being, that you are one of the least boring human beings in existence," he said in a highly serious tone. "Really, I have no idea how you even got the idea that idea, I find your existence enthralling."

Now looking like a disco ball, Roman turned around in his chair and wheeled it over to the bed, where he kissed Samuel on the cheek and brushed the glittery powder onto the back of his hand.

"You don't have to do anything you don't want to do, baby. You don't have to live up to anyone's expectations other than your own."

To an outside viewer, the scene must have looked quite silly Samuel thought, his boyfriend telling him he wasn't boring while he was wheeling around in his desk chair, shimmering all over from the makeup he just seemed to keep applying. But Roman was telling him to be himself while he himself was doing the same thing and unapologetically so.

Samuel smiled, feeling himself get filled up with nothing but warmth and happiness at Romans words, as long as his boyfriend thought he wasn't boring things were okay. Obviously, not everyone could like him, but Samuel always somehow let things get to him anyways so it was nice to have Roman there to remind him that those people didn't matter.

"I don't think I would, and I mean that's partially because I get too embarrassed, but I also don't want to be someone I'm not" Samuel said somewhat carefully, for once when he was talking about his feelings he was at a pretty good state of mind, and that was nice, "cus I think I'm finally starting to like who I am, "

He shrugged, because he had just said something he would tell someone other than Roman. Indicated that he hadn't before, which wasn't really news but it was still weird and almost embarrassing to get out there. But it was completely thanks to Roman he did feel that way, for being there for him and saying things like what he just said so Samuel figured he ought to know.

"I think I just needed to hear you confirm it, or something" he continued in more of a mumble but still not taking his eyes of Roman to avoid the awkwardness of telling him his thoughts.

"I'll say it as many times as you need me to," Roman vowed in a whisper. When he blinked, little glitters transferred from his cheeks to his eyelashes. He looked beautiful like this, dripping in stardust, yet it was Samuel who was beautiful to him. Pure and sweet, more than anything Roman could ever deserve.

Roman went in for a deep, passionate and romantic kiss, transferring some of the glitter from his lips to Samuel's but not caring at all since he had better things to worry himself about. He packed as much emotion as he could into that kiss, conveying his message of how much he loved his boyfriend to him.

"I love who you are," he whispered. "Please don't ever change for anyone other than yourself."

"I won't, I promise" Samuel whispered back and pulled Roman over to the bed so they could share another passionate kiss, deciding for him that he was done with makeup right now, because Samuel wanted to kiss him again and again and never stop. They had shared a lot of kisses throughout the day, but they had all been short, sweet and reassuring, the ones they shared now were the kind of kisses that were saved for when they were alone.

After the second kiss Samuel wrapped his arms around his boyfriend pulling him close, nuzzling his face into the crook of Romans neck, quietly and with closed eyes just feeling the others warmth for a little while before mumbling "I love you so much", gently pulling away to look into his boyfriends beautiful green eyes.

"You're amazing, you know that, right?" Samuel said and let his hand cup one of his boyfriend's shimmery cheeks, he was sure Roman already knew, but reminding him didn't hurt.

"Yeah I know," Roman joked, putting both arms around Samuel's muscular torso and holding him just as close. He lived for passionate moments like this, moments full of love and affection and complete and other bliss. He felt like nothing was wrong. He felt like nothing could ever touch them.

"But you're amazing, too," he pressed to Samuel, running a hand through the dark curls and looking at his boyfriend's stunning eyes with nothing but love in them. "More amazing than you know. You totally don't give yourself enough credit."

Roman climbed onto the bed and laid back with his arms around his boyfriend, just holding him for now. There was no need for sexual closeness when they had all they needed with each other.

"Do you think if we leave the curtains open the sun will shine on me in the morning and I'll look like Edward Cullen?" he joked, staring up at the galaxy ceiling.

Samuel was all smiles after Roman told him he was amazing as well and when they laid down in the bed together. He glanced at his boyfriend's pretty face who was busy looking up in at the ceiling, before sighing happily and closing his eyes, enjoying the feeling of being close and the thought that he loved Roman and Roman loved him.

When Roman jokingly brought up the book character Samuel let out a small laugh, and opened his eyes again to grab the hand Roman had applied the shimmer, turning it in the same way he had done with his own hand in the store to admire the shifting colour.

"Hopefully, I want a hot sparkly vampire boyfriend" Samuel continued on his boyfriend joke. Roman ending up with the glittery makeup all over his dark bed sheets was probably more likely but Samuel wasn't going to crush his boyfriend's dreams "You'll look way better though, even I could see they did a shitty job with the makeup in the movies, everyone looked weird"

Roman scoffed in disgust and rolled his eyes. "I'm still angry that Bella had the same skin tone as the vampires," he said, seething at the injustice that was made upon the wonderful Twilight books by the much less successful and enjoyable films. "Like, she was pale but not that pale."

Roman pushed a hand through Samuel's slightly glittery hair and kissed him on the forehead.

"So I was thinking about uni," he said honestly. "I've been accepted at a TAFE in the city, and Bells, Elliot and Blake have been accepted to Monash. So ... I mean, if you want to live with us, you can."

Roman had asked before that time after dinner, and Samuel had told him he had wanted to. But he supposed it was a more serious proposition this time, a decision to actually make. Samuel still had no doubts about the fact that he wanted to live with Roman though, and that living with Bella, Elliot, and Blake sounded fun enough as well.

"I've told you it's not a matter of if I want to, It's a matter if all of you will have me," he said, giving his boyfriend a warm smile, "Because I would really love living with you... And I also don't really have any other plans for where to live so"

He let out a breathy chuckle, uni was a lot to think about on top of everything else that had happened lately, and so Samuel had just applied without too much thought, not thinking too much about where to live, opting to let him in the future have to stress with that.

Roman smiled broadly at the idea of Samuel living with him. Sure, it would mean that they would be living with his friends so it wasn't like truly living alone. But that didn't matter. It was the next logical step in their lives together and he couldn't be more excited for it to commence.

"I'm glad," he murmured, leaning in and kissing Samuel on the cheek.

"We get to coordinate a bedroom, and we get to go out and pick matching desk lamps -- ugh, I'm excited, I love interior design."

"Does that mean you coordinating a bedroom," Samuel started jokingly, half grinning at Roman because of the teasing joke he was making, half smiling at his boyfriend's excitement, "and me picking out a desk lamp while going along with everything else you decide on, like the very good boyfriend I am, letting you do what you love?"

He really couldn't care less about where he lived would look like if he lived with Roman. Just the fact that it was a thing that seemed to actually be something that would happen in a pretty close future was both amazing and hard to believe. This wasn't them making up a fantasy life for themselves ten years from now, this was them talking about how things might actually be in just a little more than half a year.

"...but Roman what if I want-" he made a very overexaggerated gasping sound "- colours?"

Roman made a gagging noise at the mention of colour. "How dare you bring up such a hideous topic in my bedroom." The only flash of colour Roman had in his room was the ceiling, and his makeup. He liked gothic purples and pinks, otherwise he stuck to very dark shades. He had an aesthetic that needed to be adhered to.

"You may have one coloured cushion and it is only allowed to be purple, pink, teal or dark blue," Roman instructed his boyfriend, rubbing his shoulders and kissing him on the forehead.

"And I'm also fond of marble and rose gold. Because I'm not rich we'll be buying the cheap knock off shit from Kmart."

"Gotta love some cheap knock off shit from Kmart" Samuel chuckled and grabbed one of Romans hands, continuing tracing patterns on it like he had that morning on the train.

"If I'm not allowed bright orange and lime green-" Samuel said, choosing two colors he was sure his boyfriend wouldn't be caught dead in "-can we at least have lots of houseplants? they can be in black pots"

He glanced at Roman with a pleading look, if he was going to live in total the total darkness that was Romans aesthetic that was cool but that he was way to committed too, Samuel at least wanted house plants. House plants were cool.

Roman physically cringed at the mention of bright orange and lime green. "How dare you deface this majestic room with the mentions of such heinous shades," he said dramatically, like a medieval king proclaiming war on evil spirits. He playfully pushed Samuel's shoulder, though he meant no harm and still loved him just the same.

"If I wasn't irrevocably in love with you, I would punch you in the face." Of course, Roman wouldn't do that to Samuel. Ever. In fact, there was a very short number of people on the list of those who he would actually punch in the face.

"You may have two houseplants and you must give them wacky names."

Samuel laughed at how appalled Roman was at his choice of terrible colours and his empty threats, at least his boyfriend would be making sure their room would look decent. Even if Samuel wouldn't do something as disastrous as use the two jarring colours, but there was no doubt about the fact that Roman had an eye for colours, being an artist and all.

"I will name them orange and Lime, just to spite you, and you won't be able to do anything about it" he said and grinned evilly at his boyfriends hand who he decided to just intertwine his fingers with Roman's instead, pulling his hand up to his lips and gave it a kiss almost automatically "but they will not actually be orange or Lime trees, for the sake of irony"

He turned his head to Roman when he finished in a very serious tone.

"I will love them unconditionally"

"I hate you," said Roman in a loving tone, moving down the bed so they lay facing one another and Roman could squish Samuel's cheeks together and kiss his puckered lips.

"You're lucky you're hot," he said, wriggling closer so their bodies were pressed together and Roman could nudge the other's nose with his own. "I totally would have thrown you in a bin by now if you weren't."

He was joking, of course. Samuel had a beautiful personality and that was what Roman was in love with. Being hot was just an added bonus.

Percy made his presence known by hopping onto the bed and wedging his fat, fluffy body between the two boys'.

"Aww Percy, what are you doing, I was just about to show Roman that I'm not only hot but an excellent kisser as well," He said, not actually sounding angry at the cat, he could get the point of his joke across without confusing him. Besides Samuel couldn't actually be annoyed by the cat, however hard he tried, Percy was simply too adorable.

He also couldn't resist reaching out to pet the cat for the same reason, so he did. Giving him some ear scratches and gentle strokes over his soft fur.

"Are you bringing him when you move out?" Samuel asked as he gave the fat cat the attention he deserved simply by being the cutest cat on the planet, and then added somewhat dramatically, but less animated way than he would have before Roman changed their position to be so close, "or do you not want to tear him from the comfort an familiarity of home here" while moving his gaze to from the ball of fluff back to his boyfriend.
