As the fairly rude boy yelled in Ryuu's face, Ryuu was on the edge of breaking out into tears. The chef hadn't meant to be rude, but that was what happened, their plane had crashed here. Or so they'd been told. Ryuu didn't know what to make of it outside this boy was now yelling and cursing at Ryuu. The Ultimate Chef silently told himself he'd never make it on Hell's Kitchen if this was what it was like to be yelled at in real life...
Suddenly the other boy backed off to complain about his clothes and Ryuu never knew he could be grateful for someone's clothes being ruined. Ryuu let out a sigh of relief when the other boy was out of his face. These people were all scary... it was hard to believe they were classmates. Maybe they weren't all bad, it was just the unfamiliar environment and the fact that no one remembered the plane crashing, Ryuu rationalized. Being used to ending up somewhere unfamiliar and not knowing how he got there, Ryuu didn't panic as he probably should have. He knew how to handle somewhere unfamiliar, but... for some strange reason he didn't feel like pulling out his phone. Probably that he figured there wasn't a signal wherever this was.
Suddenly, the boy who had been cursing turned to Ryuu greeted him and extrended a hand. Ryuu nervously took it,
"uhm, I'm Ryuu Takamoto. But y-you can call me Ryuu. I don't like honorifics... uhm, I'm also the Ultimate Chef..."
The sudden addressing and introduction of the Nuclear Physicist caught Ryuu off-guard again. Ryuu desperately wished to be in a kitchen rather than the beach, but a girl who popped up walked off towards the group going to the hotel.
"W-we should probably get going towards the h-hotel? I-I don't have a great sense of direction... and I don't want to keep the teacher waiting either... if you guys don't mind, that is."
